Being a native Oregonian, I have been blessed to have been raised around animals and Mother Nature and all of the things that go with it.  Birth, death, happiness and hardships.  It makes one appreciate just what one has with all of the little things that can go right or go wrong. I live with my husband, Dan, in the high desert of Central Oregon's Redmond and raise Corriente roping cattle.  Calving season, weaning and branding all give me wonderful ideas and inspiration for art pieces.  There is also the snow, wind, frozen water tanks...spring, summer, sagebrush and junipers.  Sometimes I find I have too much inspiration and just kinda have to sit back and pick the most intriguing shot.  I wouldn't trade any of this for money.  I do what I do because I love it.

1989, I earned an Associates of Arts in Commercial Arts.  1992, I earned a Bachelors of Fine Art in Fine Art with a Major in Fine Arts and a Minor in Psychology.  I also did extensive studies in jewelry manufacturing in gold and silver.  A process called 'lost wax casting'.

Over  the past few years, I have attended several art shows and exhibits, winning honors. My work has been published in magazines and newspapers and also used for events.

"I can't imagine myself not being able to be surrounded by beautiful desert, our horses, our dogs and our cattle.  Sharing this with my husband, who has provided me with the opportunity to spend my time doing what I enjoy, I am blessed.  I AM very blessed to be able to live where I do, do what I love to do and share that with people through my art"..
